to find out how to lower your handicap by 30% with your current
skills. The Lowerscores Manual will show you how. After just a few
rounds you could use the mental and strategic methods in the manual
to cut 2 strokes for every 5 on your handicap. You will also learn
how to score your mental game and compare it to the pros on tour.
You will save at least a sleeve of balls in a season if you use
the manual, so get it now. It is a great deal.
Last
Week on the tours:
Well,
The Tour Championship did not do much to settle the player of the
year debate, but it was the venue for Chad Campbell's first PGA
Tour win. A ten under 61 on Saturday allowed him to cruise to victory
over the top thirty players on tour this year.
Vijay
Singh's top five finish gave him the money title by almost a million
dollars over Tiger Woods who finished 26th and did not shoot one
round in the sixties. Davis Love, Jim Furyk, and Kenny Perry, were
the only other player of the year candidates to finish in the top
ten.
Singh
would normally be a lock for player of the year finishing at the
top of the money list, but he also plays more than any of the other
contenders. Woods has by far the best money per tournaments played,
and with his five wins, will likely be player of the year once again.
The other contenders needed to win to be considered.
Unfortunately,
the best players are often mentally drained by the Tour Championship
and often some of the newcomers rise up to win. This year saw Chad
Campbell, Chris Riley, and Jonathan Kaye show their stuff.

Quote/Joke
of the week:
"The
great thing about starting golf in your forties is that you can
start golf in your forties. You can start other things in your forties
but generally your wife makes you stop them, as Bill Clinton found
out."
-

Tip
of the week:
Hooking
and Slicing:
Hooking
is caused by the clubface rotating over the ball at impact. Often
this is caused by too much hand action through the ball, and/or
coming too much from the inside and flipping the club. The more
closed your stance, the greater the chance of hooking the ball.
So if you want to hook, do the above, if not try opening your stance
a bit and taking the club back more upright than around your body.
Gripping the club a little firmer can also help to get rid of the
hook.
A
slice is caused by the club glancing off the inside of the ball.
It is most often caused by gripping the club too tight, and coming
at the ball from outside to in. To cure a slice you want to take
the club back more inside or around your body, close your stance
slightly, keep your elbows closer to your body, and loosen up your
grip.
Testimonial:
"I
have used at least seven different gadgets to improve my golf swing.
I have managed to reduce my handicap by 4 over the 6 years I have
used these things. They usually end up in the closet. The LowerScores
Manual is different. It helped me understand what it takes to score
on the golf course. In one season I lowered my handicap by four
more."

Golf
equipment and training aids:
- The
best golf equipment does not have to break the bank. I use clone
golf clubs from Pinemeadow
Golf, and I have used many name brands. Custom clubs
that fit your game is the way to go.
- The
best site I have seen for golf fitness is here
for having the most golf specific programs for all season. There
are also great pre-game stretching routines. Too many people neglect
the stretching and fitness components of golf and it can really
affect your scores. Use every advantage you can go to Golf
Fitness now.
